May 5, 2011 - General Voice introduces a new line of patented C2 platform Audio Event Recording and Transcription Products. These appliances allow control of recordings privately eliminating 3rd party services, recurring monthly payments, and potential file security risks. All of the C2 Event Recording products provide multiple forms of recording formats including:

MVL - Audio playback and display as synchronized paragraphs.
MP3 - Audio playback as a single linear audio file.
WAV - Audio playback as a single linear audio file.
TXT - Word processing and printable text transcript files.

Other features include simple to use web pages for product configuration to best fit your business needs. The MVL File Editor and MVL Player software are both provided with each product.

September 9, 2010 - General Voice has been chosen to provide recording and production services for an oral history project to document workers in the auto industry, including UAW member oral histories. General Voice was chosen because of the company's patented system of synchronized audio-text-picture with automatic paragraphing capabilities. General Voice is please to be providing this service for this important time of American history.


April 5, 2010 - General Voice's VMM technology is granted patent number 7,689,416 from the US Patent and Trademark Office for a system of transferring personal files (speech recognition training files or "Voice Models") between computers. This patent is related to General Voice's software product called Voice Model Mobility. The value of Voice Model Mobility was immediately recognized by the speech recognition user base. General Voice was a clear leader in creating this needed technology and releasing Voice Model Mobility which saved users time and provided a more consistent reliable accuracy and performance rate between speech recognition systems. General Voice remains committed to investing in technology using the company's process of identifying future problems, inventing solutions, applying for patents, and creating sales revenues based on the solutions. General Voice has invested in many more patents that are pending and continues to create new hardware and software products and services.


October 26, 2009 - General Voice has been chosen to provide recording and production services for an oral history project for the Polish Mission at Orchard Lake Schools. This includes a WWII Commemoration for a series of interviews of survivors. General Voice will provide telephone interview and recording services and the production of the audio, text, picture medium. General Voice is honored to be working with these WWII heroes.

March 23, 2009 - General Voice partners with 3CX for a reliable and affordable PBX's for General Voice's solutions. The 3CX PBX solutions are a perfect fit and will allow General Voice the ability to bring new technologies forward with more functionality, scalable, at a very attractive price.




November 10, 2009 - General Voice's recording technology is granted patent number 7,603,273 for an event driven automatic paragraphing recording technology. This technology is unique in the recording industry because the system automatically puts oral history into paragraphs reducing time for transcription and audio editing and provides new methods of synchronized audio, text, and picture presentations.

April 8, 2009 - General Voice's audio-text-picture audio book technology is given high ratings. Market testing by Simply of tens of thousands of units has determined that audio book fans prefer to have the audio-text-picture option included with their standard audio books on CD. Moreover it was proven out that the technology is very reliable with zero defects for the entire test. The most common customer comment is, "Why isn't AudioPrint included on all audio books". Simply plans to add audio-text technology to more of the company's audio books under the name AudioPrint.

April 21, 2008 - General Voice is chosen to supply audio-text technology to Simply Magazine creating AudioPrint audio books. General Voice's technology brings new and valuable features beyond traditional audio books including the synchronization of audio, text, and pictures and other features like search and print. Audio books that play audio in a traditional CD players and audio-text on computers.

March 2007 - General Voice's telephone system is chosen to record genealogy conference calls where Sharon Sargeant (well known genealogist) is interviewing several experts in the field of genealogy. General Voice provided oral history presentations of the events using Audio-Text technology that synchronizes text, audio, and pictures.

May 2006, General Voice's telephone technology is granted patent number 7,047,192 from the US Patent and Trademark office for an event driven telephone recording technology and system presently called "C2". This technology is unique in the telephone recording industry because the system provides enhanced methods for telephone recording, transcription, editing, and presentation of the audio-text material. Some uses for the system include recording of telephone interviews, telephone conversations, telephone conferences, training delivery, and oral history.

February 6, 2006, General Voice has signed an agreement to apply a C2-Telephone pilot test system at a Worcester Massachusetts correctional facility for the purposes of service evaluation. General Voice is continuing to see new opportunities where automatic paragraphing and transcription technology can be installed and is in talks with other potential customers. November 7, 2005, General Voice announces its latest automatic transcription technology for OEMs, Government, and Businesses called C2-Telephone. This easy to use service provides automatic transcription of telephone calls. After the call is complete an audio text Multi-Voice Log (MVL) Transcript is available for review using the powerful MVL Browser that links text transcript directly with the related audio. February 7, 2005, General Voice Inc. announces and releases the MVL Browser for reviewing Kontext Internet conference calls. This patent pending software application provides audio call reviewing for Kontext Basic. The MVL Browser provides play back of the full conference or easily accessible specific statements of all conference participants. April 4, 2005, General Voice announces Kontext Professional providing automatic transcription of Internet conferencing. This powerful product is clearly an industry leader recording all audio and translating it to text output and displaying it instantly on a computer monitor as the participant statements are made. Using the MVL Browser after the call has completed provides a chronological order display of each person’s statements in text as they occurred during the call. By clicking on the text the relative audio is played. Kontext Professional frees the call participants from taking copious notes and allowing participants to focus on the call. November 2004, General Voice announces patent pending peer to peer Internet conferencing software called Kontext providing VOIP person to person connections, audio and audio recording, and text chat. April 6, 2003 - Tom's Hardware chooses RAP Meter as the tool for measuring speech recognition systems. Tom's Hardware uses the RAP Meter as an indicator of speech recognition accuracy and performance. In the article "Speaking to XP with SoundMAX" Cadenza By Christian Stavro from tomshardware.com - November 27, 2002 the test and relative certificates provided a benchmark for the SoundMAX with windows XP.

February 3, 2003 - General Voice RAP Meter receives positive reviews from the VAR community. October 1, 2002 - General Voice releases its latest version of Voice Model Mobility, VMM 3.0, with support for Dragon 6.1 & IBM ViaVoice 8. VMM moves trained voice files between computers over network, flash cards, CDRW, Zip drives, etc. VMM products are being used in various hospitals, nursing homes and law offices in the USA to increase productivity and enhance users experiences with voice recognition products.

Mar 1, 2002 - General Voice releases a testing method for speech recognition software called Reliable Accuracy and Performance Meter or "RAP Meter". This unique tool measures two key aspects of speech recognition including accuracy and speech recognition response time. Using the RAP Meter allows easements for speech recognition software, microphones, computer audio systems. The RAP meter provides a certificate of the results that includes the components used during the test. For companies manufacturing computers that include speech recognition, the RAP Meter is a must have and can save hours of time of subjective analysis. General Voice is a leader in providing a measurement tool solution to the speech recognition user base.

August 14, 2001 - Speech recognition Value Added Resellers choose VMM as an alternative to server based enterprise speech recognition solutions. VARs and customers are seeing the clear advantages of using Voice Model Mobility and being able to move their voice training files (Voice Models). Voice Model Mobility is patent pending technology.

June 4, 2001 - General Voice forms an alliance with MangoSoft offsite data storage service. General Voice provides management of speech recognition user profiles (Voice Models) and MangoSoft provides the centralize location for voice model storage. General Voice believes that centralized data storage is the future and pleased to work with MangoSoft for this project.

May 29, 2001 - General Voice releases Voice Model Mobility for speech recognition software. Voice Modem Mobility makes it easy for speech recognition users to move their training files between speech recognition systems.
